Viking Johnson Retain Fittings Contract with Yorkshire Water until 2024

Yorkshire Water have awarded their mechanical fittings framework contracts Lot 1 (up to 300mm) and Lot 2 (above 350mm) to Viking Johnson for another 5 years. The range of fittings includes couplings, flange adaptors, under pressure tees and repair clamps, for different pipe materials including ductile iron, steel, PE and PVC.
All Viking Johnson fittings are manufactured in Hitchin and stocks are held within a network of distributors, within the Yorkshire region and throughout the UK.
Paul Holmes, National Sales Manager for VJ, said -
“We are pleased to have secured this contract with Yorkshire Water, having worked closely with them for several years and developed a good working relationship with their contractors, which is combined with a dependable product solution that they have confidence installing in their network, which is backed by a 50 year design life expectancy”.
Viking Johnson continuously invests in updating production facilities through a policy of continuous improvement that now also includes the use of robotics in the coating process.
